Startling details of the post-mortem examination of Anjali Singh, the woman killed after allegedly being dragged under a car in Delhi, have emerged, days after her death.
The victim's body had 40 external injuries. Some of her brain matter was missing, the skull was fractured, and her ribs were exposed from the back, as per sources quoted by NDTV.
"Shock and haemorrhage" have been cited as the cause of death. The autopsy found "no injury suggestive of sexual assault", as per reports.

Anjali died on 1 January 2023 after a car hit her scooty, she fell, and her body got tangled in the undercarriage of the vehicle, as per police. The 20-year-old was dragged by the car for many kilometres, and even spotted by an eyewitness.
All 5 alleged occupants of the car have been arrested.
