Union Home Minister held Rahul Gandhi responsible for the BJP leader's fake video being spread online which purportedly talks of ending reservation in India. In a press briefing on April 30,

Shah said that the BJP backs reservations for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.

"They (Congress) are so desperate and frustrated that they made a fake video of me and some other BJP leaders, and shared it with others.  Chief Ministers, State Congress president and others have also done the work of forwarding this fake video," he said.

Shah condemned Congress for circulating his fake videos.

"Ever since Rahul Gandhi took charge of the Congress, he has been working to take the level of politics to a new low...I believe that the attempt to get public support by circulating fake videos is condemnable and should never be done by any major party in Indian politics," the minister said.
