Massive fire breaks out in Delhi's Carnival Resort, fire tenders rushed

Massive flames erupted from a banquet in Delhi on Friday afternoon as fire trucks were seen gushing water on the blazing building. Visuals from the scene show a Bharat Petroleum station near the Carnival Resort in New Delhi's Alipur.

Plumes of thick black smoke was seen coming out of the building and going over a busy West Delhi road. The reason behind the fire remains unclear.

A call was received at 1.55 pm and 13 fire tenders have been pressed into service, an official from the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) said.

So far, there are no reports of anyone injured in the incident, the official said, adding that efforts are on to douse the fire.
