Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be chairing a crucial meeting of outgoing Cabinet ministers around 11 am in Delhi on Wednesday.

This will be the last meeting before the dissolution of the parliament. The meeting will reportedly be held at Prime Minister Modi's residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg, where the dissolution of the 17th Lok Sabha will be discussed.

Once Cabinet ministers recommend the parliament dissolution, President Droupadi Murmu will have to dissolve the current lower house and begin constituting the 18th Lok Sabha.

President Murmu will also host a farewell dinner for PM Modi’s Union Council of Ministers at Rashtrapati Bhavan later in the day.

The NDA, with 292 seats, will be called upon by the President to prove its majority within a specified timeframe.
