Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal sharply retorted to Pakistani leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain's post on Saturday in which he had seemingly endorsed the AAP leader in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Kejriwal had earlier shared on X that he, along with his family members, cast their vote.

Reposting the CM's picture, Hussain said: "May peace and harmony defeat forces of hate and extremism.”

But Kejriwal was peeved with the Pakistani leader's response and asked him not to interfere in the internal affairs of the country.

The Delhi CM said and I quote, "Chaudhary Sahib, I and the people of my country are fully capable of handling our issues. Your tweet is not needed. The situation in Pakistan is very bad right now. You take care of your country.”

He further said that elections "are an internal matter", and added that "India will not tolerate interference from the biggest sponsors of terrorism."
