Delhi bore a brownish tint on Tuesday morning with dust-raising winds sweeping through the capital.
The Indian Meteorological Department said the 'main reason behind this is that a western disturbance has passed and strong winds are prevailing over Haryana, South Haryana, Delhi NCR, Western Uttar Pradesh, and North-East Rajasthan.
The weather office added that winds blowing at 40–45 kmph are picking up soil loosened by dry and hot weather, and spreading it in the air up to a height of 1-2 km
