The Election Commission on 16th March announced the dates of assembly elections for four states that will take place simultaneously with the Lok Sabha election.
Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will go to polls on April 19, and Andhra Pradesh and Odisha will go to polls on May 13. Andhra has 175 assembly seats and is governed by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Odisha has 147 seats and is led by five-time Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. Arunachal Pradesh has 41 seats and is currently governed by the BJP.
And Sikkim has 32 assembly seats and is governed by a BJP-led coalition.
