Video: IndiGo plane grounded at IGI airport after engine catches fire

A full emergency was declared at the Delhi IGI airport after a fire on Bengaluru-bound IndiGo airlines flight 6E 2131 late on Friday night. 

NDTV reported that the flight which was taking off for Bengaluru had to be grounded at Delhi airport after one of the engines caught fire.

A video shot from inside the plane, which went viral on the internet, showed sparks and flames emergening from the exteriror of the plane while passengers can be heard panicking. 

The passenger who shot the video and posted it on twitter told NDTV that the situation was brought under control.
