Ex-Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa accused of sexually assaulting minor, booked

Former Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor. He was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act by the Bengaluru Police on March 14. 

According to media reports quoting police sources, the alleged sexual assault took place on February 2  when the mother and daughter met the former Chief Minister to seek help in connection with a cheating case.
