As the Congress moved a no-confidence motion against the NDA govt in Lok Sabha on July 26, misleading tweets that Prime Minister Modi had predicted this back in 2018 are going viral.

The tweets claim that during a no-confidence motion speech in 2018, the Prime Minister had said that the Opposition will bring a similar notice against him in 2023.

The clip posted with the tweets is however from Prime Minister Modi's speech in Lok Sabha on February 07, 2019. The speech was a Motion of Thanks to the address made by the President at the beginning of the Parliament session.

However, during the reply to the no-confidence motion debate on July 20, 2018, the prime minister did touch upon the issue of the Opposition bringing in another such notice. The year mentioned by him however was 2024.
