Flight operations at the Delhi airport were affected due to rain and lightning in the city on Monday evening.
According to NDTV, 9 flights were impacted by the weather in Delhi. Of the 9, 6 were diverted to Jaipur, 2 to Lucknow, and 1 to Ahmedabad.
ANI reported that a Vistara flight from Guwahati to Delhi, UK742, was diverted to Jaipur due to bad weather at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Vistara also tweeted that 'Flights to and from Delhi and Mumbai may be impacted due to bad weather and air traffic congestion.'
Indigo issued a travel advisory and wrote '#6ETravelAdvisory : Flight operations to/from #Delhi are impacted due to heavy rain. You may keep a tab on your flight status by visiting http://bit.ly/2EjJGGT. For any assistance, feel free to DM.'

Spicejet too posted an alert on X and said ' We are facing ATC congestion at Delhi (DEL) due to bad weather. All departures/arrivals and their consequential flights might get affected. Passengers are requested to keep a check on their flight status via http://bit.ly/2tG9xBx.'
