A video of a heated argument between a couple and security guards outside a Goa church is going viral.
The March 11 purported video occurred outside Goa's The Basilica of Bom Jesus church after the couple was apparently denied entry due to timing issues.
As per a Network 18 report, the couple wasn't let inside as they arrived after closing time. The clip shows the woman hurling abuses at the security guards and hitting them with slippers claiming that he first hit her on the head.
The husband on the other hand claimed that he didn't even touch the guards who are heard rebuking over the use of cuss words.
Goa-based journalist Herman Gomes who shared the viral clip called out the tourists in his post and wrote that the couple officially wanted to barge in before the official visiting hours.
He tweeted, "Indian (read Desi) tourists creating a ruckus outside the most holiest church , at Old Goa. The reason apparently was they wanted to barge in before the official visiting hours."
