Soon after BJP announced Mohan Yadav as the next chief minister of Madhya Pradesh who will be replacing Shivraj Singh Chouhan, leader of Congress in the Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury credited the outgoing chief minister for ensuring the BJP's victory in the state.
"They can make anyone the CM but if we look back, I think BJP could register its victory in Madhya Pradesh only under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. BJP wants to give credit to PM Modi but I would like to say that had Shivraj Singh Chouhan not been there, it would have been difficult for BJP to win in Madhya Pradesh. I personally think that more than PM Modi's, it is Shivraj Singh Chouhan's victory," Chowdhury told ANI on Monday.
