Haryana shocker: Businessman killed in broad day light outside eatery

In a shocking incident, a businessman in Haryana was ambushed and killed in broad daylight on Sunday.

Sunder Malik, a liquor vendor from Saragthal village in Gohana, was sleeping in his SUV outside a dhaba, when he was dragged out of his vehicle and shot to death by two unknown assailants.

Malik knocked down one of the attackers to escape, however, the other gunman continued shooting at him. 

The incident occurred outside Gulshan Dhaba in Murthal, Sonepat at 8:30 am. The Dhaba owner is said to have called the police. 

Police officials said around 35 bullets were fired. Eight investigative teams have been formed to nab the accused. 

According to police, the victim was out on bail and was facing charges of murder, attempt to murder and other offenses. However, officials cannot confirm a gang war angle to the incident. 

Himanshu alias, Bhau, a wanted gangster, has reportedly taken responsibility for the shooting.
