Gurugram, Faridabad admins suspend plying of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles

Gurugram and Faridabad administrations have banned the plying of BS-III petrol and BS-IV diesel vehicles amid deteriorating air quality in the regions. 

The Transport Commissioner has sent a letter to the district administrations of both Gurugram and Faridabad after the Centre for Air Quality Management implemented GRAP 3 in Delhi-NCR, The Trubine reported. 

As per the orders, owners will be penalised as per law, and a hefty fine will be imposed if any vehicles of these models are found plying on the road if any vehicle of these models is found plying on the roa.
