In a significant political turn of events on Tuesday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with his cabinet ministers, tendered their resignations.

This move follows growing tensions within the ruling coalition of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) in Haryana.

An urgent meeting was convened at Haryana Niwas in Chandigarh after Khattar's resignation.  Amid speculation of Khattar's potential return for a third term, BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini has been selected as the next Chief Minister.

The swearing-in ceremony for the new cabinet is scheduled for today at 4 pm.
