As Air India officially rejoined the Tata Group on Thursday, there was a little public display of affection from the two parties on Twitter.
Tata Group tweeted to welcome Air India back to their fold while adding that it's arrival was much awaited.
The airlines too posted a message on social media saying that a brand new chapter is unfolding for Air India as it joins Tata Group and they together embark on a journey of excellence.
The message was accompanied by a picture of a seat belt with one red strap to represent Air India and a blue strap to represent Tata with the text 'We Click'.
The Indian government handed over Air India to the Tata Group on Thursday afternoon, after approximately 69 years when it was taken from the conglomerate.

After a competitive bidding process, the government had on October 8 last year sold Air India to Talace Private Limited -- a subsidiary of the Tata Group's holding company -- for Rs 18,000 crore.
