IAF fighter jet crash: 2 civilians killed; MiG-21 pilot ejects safely in Rajasthan

An Indian Air Force fighter jet crashed in the Hanumangarh district of Rajasthan on May 8, 2023.

At least two civilian women died, while one man was injured as the MiG-21 aircraft crashed on their house, police said.

The Air Force said that the pilot ejected safely, and only sustained minor injuries.

The MiG-21 was on a routine training sortie, and an inquiry has been ordered into why it crashed.
