The Indian Air Force has given a look at the first C295 military transport aircraft being manufactured for it in Spain.

A video showing how the plane was painted in IAF colours was released by the force. It took 10 days to paint one aircraft.

The Union government approved the C295 deal with Airbus and Space SA in 2021. India will get 16 aircraft in "fly-away" condition.

Tata Group will manufacture and assemble 40 planes in India.
