India has invited Pakistan foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial to participate in a Shanghai Cooperation Organisation or SCO meeting in Goa. Pakistan is yet to respond to India's invitation.

If Bhutto accepts the invitation, he will become the first Pakistani foreign minister to visit India in 12 years.

India took over the chairmanship of the Asian grouping in September 2022 and will host a series of meetings and a summit in Goa in the first week of May.
