Indian Navy's Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) met with an accident off the coast of Mumbai on March 08 and was forced to make an emergency landing.
Immediate search and rescue efforts were executed to safely recover the chopper's three crew members by a naval patrol craft, a Navy statement read.
It added that an inquiry to investigate the incident has been ordered.
After a deadly crash in Arunachal Pradesh in October last year, during which all 5 personnel on board were killed, all ALHs in the country were grounded as a precautionary move.
A News18 report quoted an official source who had said, 'We are putting all of them under a one-time check and they will be flying post that.'
