Owing to the bad weather conditions, Indigo cancelled a Delhi-Deoghar flight. As the flight was cancelled, several enraged customers rallied inside the Delhi airport and started raising slogans against IndiGo. This incident took place on January 30.

The airlines announced that the bad weather in Jharkhand was the reason for the cancellation. Soon after that, a video of the incident is doing rounds on the internet.

The airline stated, "Indigo flight 6E 2198 from Delhi to Deogarh was cancelled on Jan 30 and Jan 31, 2024, due to a sudden drop in weather conditions around the airport in Deogarh. Passengers were served with refreshments and options to avail a full refund, alternate sectors or rescheduling."

"We regret the inconvenience caused due to factors beyond the airline’s control," it added.
