Adding yet another feather to its cap, India's space agency ISRO said that it successfully achieved the autonomous landing of a space vehicle on 2 April 2023.

The test was conducted in the early hours of the day at the Aeronautical Test Range in Chitradurga, Karnataka.

A Chinook helicopter of the Indian Air Force launched the Reusable Launch Vehicle in midair, and the RLV then autonomously performed approach and landing manoeuvres.
