ISRO to help stop ragging at colleges? West Bengal Governor reaches out for tech aid

Amid uproar over the recent death of a student at Jadavpur University, the Governor of West Bengal has asked India's space agency for help in tackling ragging.

CV Ananda Bose has reached out to ISRO for identifying an appropriate technology solution to curb the menace of ragging on college and university campuses.

The governor's office said that technologies like video analytics, image matching, automatic target recognition, and remote sensing are being looked at.
