Indian fishermen who were in a Pakistani jail for the last four years are now all set to return to India. They had mistakenly entered the Pakistani territory due to a lack of navigation.
There are about 20 fishermen ready to leave for Lahore. Fishermen can be seen holding cards with their names written on them and waiting for their turn to get into the bus, laid on by the Edhi Foundation, from where they will cross the Wagah border into India.
Edhi Foundation is Pakistan's largest ambulance service across the country.
One of the released fishermen said that he was treated well in Pakistani Jail and he has no complaint against the jail authorities.
Dozens of Indian and Pakistani fishermen are caught and put in jail occasionally for inadvertently crossing into each other's territorial waters.
