The oath ceremony of the Modi 3.0 government took place on June 9. But, what managed to garner the attention of social media users is something peculiar. A short clip from the ceremony has surfaced online in which a mysterious animal, allegedly a leopard was seen casually strolling at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

In the viral video, Madhya Pradesh MP Durgadas Uikey, also known as DD Uikey, was swearing in as one of the Union Ministers. As Uikey stood up from his seat and bowed his head to convey Namaste to president of India, internet users quickly moved their spotlight to the background.

The video shows a four-legged creature taking a stroll above the stairs. People guessed it to be a leopard or another wild animal. While some social media users believed the footage to be edited.

However, the same visuals were recorded during the live broadcast on DD, an Indian public broadcaster.

It is worth noting that the Rashtrapati Bhavan displays a rich flora and fauna. According to the official website, it is home to many animals and birds, including 136 wild plant species and 84 animal species.
