A serving high-ranking officer in the Indian Army allegedly shot himself dead after killing his wife in Punjab's Ferozepur.
According to an Indian Express report, the deceased identified as Lieutenant Colonel Nishant Parmar left a note at the crime scene citing reasons for killing his wife Dimple and ending his life too.
The SHO of the area told the Indian Express that Parmar and his wife, both hailing from Himachal Pradesh had a marital dispute. Their only son was not living with them. The note also revealed that the couple was undergoing counselling, however it did not help.
