Assam cop finds out fiance is a fraud, arrests him

'What are you willing to do for love?' - this is a question that is asked many times but a cop from Assam has answered a question that is hardly ever posed. 'What are you willing to do for duty?'

Sub-inspector Junmoni Rabha from Assam arrested her fiance on charges of cheating after she found out that he was a fraud.

The man, Rana Pogag, claimed to be a PRO (Public Relations Officer) at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) but was allegedly involved in illegal activities. Rana allegedly cheated people of lakhs of rupees by promising them jobs in ONGC.

Junmoni Rabha came to know about Rana's scam after three people approached her with evidence. She filed an FIR against the conman and arrested him

Rana and Junmoni got engaged in October last year and were set to be married this November.
