A Bengaluru man shot himself in his car over alleged harassment by 6 men including a Bhartiya Janata Party MLA on Sunday.
According to an India Today report, the 47-year-old man, identified as S Pradeep, has named BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali in his suicide note as one of the 'main' reasons for taking the extreme step.
S Pradeep, back in 2018 invested over Rs1 crore in a club in Bengaluru after being persuaded by two of the men he named in the note, the report said.
The men had promised to pay him back a particular amount every month, including a salary for working for the club, which they allegedly failed to do.
He took the issue to BJP MLA Aravind Limbavali when they repeatedly ignored his requests for payments. Pradeep, in his note has alleged that the MLA supported men rather than helping him.
The letter also accuses a doctor, Jayaram Reddy, of filing a civil case against Pradeep’s brother’s property and mentally torturing and harassing Pradeep, India Today reported.
