Building collapse in Mumbai: Over 5 people injured

Mumbai saw yet another building collapse on January 26.

Over 5 people were reportedly injured after a 4-storey building collapsed. The structure was located in Behram Nagar near Raza Masjid in Bandra East. The collapse occurred around 4 pm.


The Mumbai civic body BMC was quoted as saying that 5 fire engines, a rescue van, and 6 ambulances had been rushed to the spot.


Four of the injured were reportedly taken to VN Desai hospital, while three others were taken to Bandra Bhabha hospital. The disaster management department of the BMC said that their condition was stable.


The Mumbai fire department rescued at least 6 people from the debris.
