Delhi: 3 men crushed to death by train, 4th survives by sitting between two lines

In a distressing incident, three men were crushed to death by a train in Delhi on 24 October 2022. According to police, four men were caught between two trains coming from opposite directions on two lines.

Three of them tried to outrun the onrushing train and cross the tracks, but were hit. The fourth survived by sitting between the two lines. The men had been returning home after going to a nearby park.

Police said they do not suspect foul play in the deaths. The incident occurred between Badli yard and Holambi in northwest Delhi's Badli area.

The deceased, aged between 19 and 21, were identified as Mohammad Hafiz, Mohammad and Riyazul. All three worked as labourers at Badli Industrial Area and lived in Rana park in Siraspur village.
