In an alarming incident, shots were fired near the iconic Red Fort in national capital Delhi. At least 3 people were reportedly injured in the shooting.
Reports suggested that it was a case of road rage after two two-wheelers collided and an argument ensued between the riders. The incident occurred in Angoori Bagh area on the intervening night of January 31 and February 1.

Mohammad Shahid, one of the persons involved, claimed that the people who rammed into his two-wheeler weren't ready to adequately compensate him. "It happened at around 9:05 pm. I was returning with my wife on a scooty. Two boys were coming on a scooty from the opposite direction. He was talking on the phone, and he collided with my vehicle. The visor broke. I asked him to get it repaired. He said he'll call his elder brother. He called someone who started abusing us. I got involved in an altercation. I called my brother and asked him to take my wife home," he said.
Shahid added, "The other person called someone who arrived and starting fighting. When we started walking away, they started firing at us. My brother got shot in the leg. Another person got shot in the back. A third person got shot in the thigh."
