Delhi: woman cries for help, police chase car but lose it on flyover, says report

A woman allegedly calling out for help from a car, a high-speed vehicle chase with police, and the car managing to slip away - a dramatic incident took place in Delhi in the early hours of June 19, 2023, as per a Hindustan Times report.

It began at 12:35 am with some NEET aspirants calling the police from South Extension Part 1. They claimed to have seen a car from which one woman was trying to escape, and another was shouting for help, while two men held them back.

Subsequently, 3 police cars spotted the vehicle, and chased it from INA towards Safdarjung at around 1 am, but it managed to escape on Barapullah flyover.

Police say that it is suspected to be a case of a personal dispute.
