Just weeks after a similar incident at a coaching centre in Delhi, a fire reportedly broke out in a shopping complex in nearby Greater Noida, forcing some people to jump from the upper floors.

The incident took place at the Galaxy Plaza building on July 13.

The fire was suspected to have been caused by a short circuit, as per reports.

Footage on social media, which could not immediately be verified, showed some persons hanging from windows, and at least one person falling towards the ground.
