After unseasonal spell of rainfall in the recent past, the India Meteorological Department has predicted gradual rise in temperature by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over the next five days for most parts of the country.
In a advisory issued on its official Twitter handle, IMD said "Gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2-4 degrees Celsius over most parts of the country during next 5 days,".
The weather office has also forecasted thunderstorms and strong winds over Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh in next couple of days. So far India has already reported two hottest days in March in last several years.
