Kuno National Park loses another translocated cheetah 'Uday'

A South African cheetah died in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park on Sunday. This is the second cheetah to have died after being translocated to India.

The six-year-old big cat was one of 12 Cheetahs flown into India in February this year. As per a press release by the forest department, Uday appeared lethargic and was limping during the daily check-up.

The feline was tranquilised and administered the first round of treatment however, Uday died hours later. An autopsy will be conducted to ascertain the cause of death.
