Lucknow: multi-storey residential building collapses, 3 dead; many feared trapped

A four-storey residential building collapsed in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow killing at least 3 people on Tuesday. 

The building, known as Alaya Apartments in the Hazratganj area of Lucknow was reportedly pretty old. The area is dotted with old structures.

As per UP's deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, rescue teams from NDRF and fire brigade personnel are at the spot and searching for survivors. 

According to reports, atleast 4 families were residing in the building. More details awaited.
