In a horrifying incident in Uttar Pradesh, a teenager was allegedly raped by a man while his wife recorded the crime. The incident reportedly occurred in UP's Badaun on 12 July.

The victim claimed that the alleged rapist - who belongs to her village - had called her to his house. There, the minor girl was allegedly raped while the man's wife filmed the act on her mobile phone.

Subsequently, the couple allegedly threatened to make the video public if the victim complained to anyone. However, the wife reportedly uploaded the video on social media, and the victim's family found out.

UP police arrested the couple on 14 July and they have been charged under sections of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act and the IT (Information Technology) Act.
