Man tries to climb wall of Indian Air Force base in Ambala, which houses Rafale fighter jets; arrested

Haryana police on 11 January 2023 announced the arrest of a man who was caught by security at an Indian Air Force base in Haryana's Ambala.

The man was allegedly trying to climb over the 12-ft high outer wall of the air base, which houses Rafale fighter jets. The incident occurred around 10:30 pm on 10 January.

Police said that the accused has been identified as Ramu, a resident of Uttar Pradesh. He will be subjected to interrogation, and his mobile phone will also be analysed, cops said.
