Manipur Violence: Ambulance set on fire by mob, mother-son, relative killed, says report

Days after an ambulance was set on fire allegedly by a mob in Manipur amid ethnic violence, news reports revealed details about the victims.

The ambulance was carrying a woman belonging to the Meitei community who is married to a man from the Kuki community, their son, and a relative, as per family members quoted by the news outlet Indian Express.

All three are feared dead after a mob allegedly attacked the ambulance while it was carrying the child to a hospital on June 4, 2023. The incident took place in Imphal West amid Kuki-Meitei clashes.
