A chilling incident was reported from Madhya Pradesh, where a cop strangled a six-year-old boy for asking money repeatedly. The child was reportedly asking for money to buy food during the Rath Yatra in the Datia district of MP, the police said.
Ravi Sharma, a police constable, allegedly strangulated the boy in a fit of rage, put his body in the car's boot and drove back to Gwalior before dumping his body at an abandoned spot.
The accused told the police that he was suffering from depression and got annoyed when the boy repeatedly asked for money.

A CCTV footage of the incident has been recovered in which Sharma's car was spotted passing by the crime scene.
Aman Singh Rathore, Datia Superintendent of police has reportedly written to the state police headquarters asking for the accused cop to be dismissed with immediate effect.
