After a video of a man apparently urinating on a person from a tribal community went viral, Madhya Pradesh arrested the accused.
Pravesh Shukla was taken into custody on the intervening night of July 4 and 5.
Police said that he was being interrogated in relation with the incident which took place around 3 months ago.
According to the police, following the instruction of the chief minister, a case has been registered against the accused at Bahari police station in the district under Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 294, 504, section 3(1) (r)(s) of SC/ST Act, and NSA.
