In the aftermath of a significant crackdown on Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, a known Khalistani terrorist and the leader of the banned separatist group Sikhs for Justice, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) is now planning to tighten noose around other K-extremists based in various countries across globe.
NDTV, citing sources said, the probe agency has compiled a list of 19 fugitive Khalistani terrorists residing in the UK, US, Canada, Dubai, Pakistan, and others.
As per the news outlet, the sources have indicated that the assets of fugitive Khalistani terrorists are also poised for confiscation as part of the ongoing efforts.
This action is set to be executed under the stringent anti-terrorism law, the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
These fugitive terrorists are alleged to have been orchestrating anti-India propaganda campaigns from their overseas bases, the report added.
