An Indian Army rafting team prevented a mishap in Uttarakhand on April 29. The Army rafting team rescued two civilian women at the adventure hotspot of Rishikesh.

The women fell out of a civilian raft and were being washed away by the rapids. They were spotted by the Army team who started shouting instructions to them.

Then a rope was thrown towards the women but they couldn’t catch hold of it. Subsequently, members of the team waded out into the water and pulled the women to safety.

The incident occurred at Phool Chatti.
