On cam: Water gushes out of shops like waterfall amid flooding in Uttarakhand's Chamoli

Scary videos of heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding continue to emerge from India's northern hill states.

In the latest instance, water appeared to be gushing out like a waterfall after flooding in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. Shops in Pipalkoti were heavily inundated on August 13, as per news agency ANI.

Flooding was also witnessed in the Nandanagar area of Chamoli as the Nandakini river swelled. With the river crossing its danger mark, water entered many homes and people were forced to evacuate.
