A priest was found dead inside a temple in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal on 15 March 2023.
55-year-old Roshan Lal Saini was found dead with marks on his head, leading police to believe that he was murdered. Police suspect that the priest was attacked with a heavy stone.
Saini was a priest in a Shiv temple located in the Chandausi Kotwali area.
Police have detained at least 2 persons, and are probing the angle of an old quarrel.
