Khalistan leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun-----wanted by the Indian government, wants to divide India and create many countries, NDTV reported citing sources.

Citing information from the National Intelligence Agency's dossier on Pannu, the news outlet said Pannun has challenged India's integrity through voice messages and has intended to create a separate country for the people of Kashmir and create a different country for Muslims, that he wants to name--Republic of Urdustan.

The head of a banned Khalistani outfit has been on the Indian government's radar since 2019 for carrying out anti-India activities.

Most recently he threatened Indian diplomats and officials in Canada over the killing of another Khalistani terrorist Hadpeep Singh Nijjar.

Pertinently, the NIA seized Pannun's properties in Chandigarh and Amritsar recently.
