Yet another instance of jewellery theft at the Delhi airport has been alleged by a foreign-based flier.

Swathi Reddy, an Indian citizen living in America, has claimed that jewellery was stolen from her bag during an X-ray security check.
She landed in Delhi on 13 March 2023, before taking a connecting flight. Reddy discovered the alleged theft when she reached home, and filed an e-FIR later.

In January, an Australian woman had filed a complaint for a similar theft when she was travelling from Sydney to Hyderabad via Delhi.

Akeshni Singh Gour alleged that her jewellery and foreign currencies worth ₹50,000 were stolen from her bag during an X-ray check when she was transferring from the international to the domestic section at the Delhi airport.
