Did terrorists attack a bus carrying many Vaishno Devi pilgrims in Jammu and Kashmir? Even as investigation details are awaited, a video allegedly released by a little-known terror group is doing the rounds.

In the unverified video, a man is seen with his face covered, and with guns and bombs around him. The man claims to represent a terror outfit called Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters (JKFF).

He claims that the JKFF carried out the attack on the bus near Katra using an IED, or an improvised explosive device. A BJP leader had earlier claimed that a sticky bomb, or an explosive attached to a vehicle using magnets, was used in the attack.

The JKFF terrorist claims RSS' Hindutva agenda as motive for the attack. He adds that more such strikes will be carried out in future against similar targets.

The threat assumes significance as the Amarnath Yatra is set to begin from June 30, after a gap of 2 years.
