A 10-year-old from Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly has grabbed headlines for a selfless act. In a story which is going viral on social media, Mohammad Hannan, the son of a mechanic, found a bag containing ₹5 lakh in cash on the street.
He tried to find the owner, but couldn't, and eventually went home with the bag. But at home, his mother told him to make sure that the owner gets his money back.
So Hannan returned to the spot where he had found the bag, and after waiting for a while, the owner finally returned. The owner was a man named Haider Khan.
He said that he was travelling in an autorickshaw and his money bag fell out of a larger case containing clothes. After noticing that the money bag was missing, he returned to the spot, to find Hannan as safe-keeper.
